Les Alfreds Sàrl

Version of September 20, 2026

These General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) govern the contractual relationship between Les Alfreds Sàrl, located in Alle (Jura, Switzerland), hereinafter referred to as “Les Alfreds,” and any person making a direct reservation or purchasing a gift voucher from Les Alfreds, hereinafter referred to as “the Client.”

1. Scope of Application

These GTC apply to reservations made directly with Les Alfreds, in particular for the accommodations Le Kota B&B and Le Chalet Bed & Bath, as well as to the purchase and use of gift vouchers and additional services offered directly by Les Alfreds.

Reservations made through a third-party platform, including Airbnb or any other booking platform, are also subject to the terms and conditions of the platform in question. In the event of a discrepancy regarding a reservation made on a third-party platform, the specific terms and conditions accepted at the time of that reservation shall prevail insofar as they govern the service in question.

2. Booking and Contract Conclusion

The information, photographs, descriptions, and prices presented on the website are intended to present the services offered.

The booking becomes final when the Client receives a booking confirmation and any payment conditions stipulated at the time of booking are met.

The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during the booking process.

Any special request is subject to availability and can only be guaranteed if expressly confirmed by Les Alfreds.

3. Prices and Payment

The applicable prices are those indicated at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are expressed in Swiss francs (CHF) and include any mandatory taxes applicable to the service when required. Any optional services are listed separately.

Payment is made according to the terms indicated at the time of booking.

A booking made through a third-party platform is subject to that platform's payment terms.

4. Cancellation or modification by the Guest

Any request for cancellation or modification must be communicated to "Les Alfreds" as soon as possible.

For bookings made through a third-party platform, the cancellation and modification terms specified on that platform at the time of booking shall apply.

For bookings made directly with "Les Alfreds," the following terms apply:

Le Kota B&B

Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.

In the event of cancellation less than 14 days before the arrival date, 100% of the cost of the booked nights is due.

Optional services are not included in the cancellation fees.

Le Chalet Bed & Bath

Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.

In the event of cancellation less than 14 days before the arrival date, 50% of the cost of the booked nights is due.

Optional services are not included in the cancellation fees.

Any change to the dates of the stay is subject to availability and the agreement of "Les Alfreds."

In the event of a "no-show," late arrival, or early departure, no further refund is due, unless otherwise agreed by "Les Alfreds" or required by mandatory legal provisions.

5. Arrival and departure

Arrival and departure times are communicated to the Guest at the time of booking or prior to their stay.

Instructions for accessing the accommodation are provided before arrival.

The Guest agrees to adhere to the agreed-upon times. Early arrival or late departure is only possible with the prior agreement of "Les Alfreds." 6. Occupancy of Accommodations

The number of people staying in an accommodation must not exceed its maximum capacity, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance with the "Alfreds."

Bookings are personal. The guest who made the booking is responsible for ensuring that all accompanying persons comply with these Terms and Conditions and the rules of the accommodation.

Accommodations must be used for their intended purpose, with due respect for the premises, the neighborhood, and the amenities provided.

7. Children and Pets

Policies regarding children and pets may vary depending on the specific accommodation and are detailed on the relevant page or during the booking process.

Where pets are permitted, their owners remain responsible for supervising them and for any damage or unusual soiling caused during the stay.

8. Amenities and Facilities

Guests must use the amenities, facilities, and outdoor spaces provided in a responsible manner and in accordance with any instructions given.

8. Equipment and Facilities

The Client shall use the equipment, facilities, and outdoor spaces made available to them in a responsible manner and in accordance with the provided instructions.

Certain items—such as Nordic baths, hot tubs, wellness facilities, fire pits, or fireplaces—require adherence to specific safety and usage guidelines.

Children must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults, particularly when near water, fire, or outdoor equipment.

9. Damage

The Client is required to promptly report any damage or incidents that occur during their stay.

The Client is liable for any damage caused intentionally or through negligence, as well as for damage caused under similar circumstances by individuals or animals for whom the Client is responsible.

"Les Alfreds" may request reimbursement for costs reasonably incurred in repairing or replacing damaged property, subject to applicable legal provisions.

10. Conduct and Respect for the Premises

The accommodations are intended for private, tourist-related stays.

The Client agrees to respect the premises, other occupants (if any), the surrounding neighborhood, and any rules provided for the specific accommodation.

Parties, events, or activities likely to cause significant disturbance are permitted only with the prior consent of "Les Alfreds."

In the event of behavior that poses a serious risk to individuals, the facilities, or the tranquility of the premises, "Les Alfreds" reserve the right to take measures that are necessary and proportionate to the situation.

11. Additional Services

Certain services may be offered to supplement the stay, such as breakfasts, hampers, beverages, or other options.

Their content, price, and availability are as stated at the time of booking.

Any food allergies or intolerances must be disclosed at the time of booking. It is the Client’s responsibility to provide this information accurately.

12. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers issued by Les Alfreds may be used for the services specified on the voucher or at the time of its purchase.

Unless otherwise stated on the voucher, they are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.

Booking a stay using a gift voucher is subject to the availability of the relevant accommodation. It is recommended to make reservations well in advance.

If the price of the chosen service exceeds the value covered by the gift voucher, the difference must be paid by the recipient.

Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are generally non-refundable, subject to mandatory legal provisions.

In the event that a voucher is lost or transferred to a third party, the recipient remains responsible for its use.

13. Unavailability or Cancellation by Les Alfreds

In exceptional circumstances that render the accommodation unavailable or reasonably prevent the stay from taking place, Les Alfreds will notify the Client as soon as possible.

Depending on the circumstances, Les Alfreds may offer to change the dates, provide a suitable alternative, or issue a refund for any paid services that cannot be delivered.

The Client’s mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

14. Liability

Les Alfreds ensure that their accommodations and facilities are maintained in a condition suitable for their intended use.

The liability of Les Alfreds is governed by applicable Swiss law. Nothing in these General Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude liability that cannot be legally excluded or limited. Les Alfreds is not liable for events attributable to the Client, a third party, or external circumstances reasonably beyond their control, subject to mandatory legal provisions.

Specific legal provisions regarding hotel liability remain reserved.

15. Personal Belongings

The Client is responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.

Any forgotten item may be reported to Les Alfreds. When reasonably possible, its return may be arranged at the Client's expense.

Mandatory legal provisions regarding the host's liability for belongings brought by travelers remain reserved.
