Les Alfreds Sàrl
Version dated September 20, 2026
These General Terms and Conditions ("GTC") govern the contractual relationship between Les Alfreds Sàrl, based in Alle (Jura, Switzerland)—hereinafter referred to as "Les Alfreds"—and any person making a direct booking or purchasing a gift voucher from Les Alfreds—hereinafter referred to as "the Client."
1. Scope
These GTC apply to bookings made directly with Les Alfreds—specifically for the accommodations "Le Kota B&B" and "Le Chalet Bed & Bath"—as well as to the purchase and use of gift vouchers and additional services offered directly by Les Alfreds.
Bookings made via a third-party platform, such as Airbnb or any other booking platform, are also subject to the terms and conditions of the platform in question. In the event of any discrepancy regarding a booking made through a third-party platform, the specific terms and conditions accepted at the time of that booking shall prevail insofar as they govern the service in question.
2. Booking and Conclusion of the Contract
The information, photographs, descriptions, and rates presented on the website are intended to showcase the services offered.
A booking becomes final once the Client receives a booking confirmation and any payment conditions stipulated at the time of booking have been met.
The Client is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided at the time of booking.
Any special requests are subject to availability and can only be guaranteed if expressly confirmed by Les Alfreds.
3. Prices and Payment
The applicable prices are those indicated at the time of booking.
Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include any mandatory taxes applicable to the service, where such taxes are required to be included in the advertised price. Any optional services are listed separately.
Payment must be made in accordance with the terms specified at the time of booking. A booking made through a third-party platform is subject to that platform's payment terms.
4. Cancellation or modification by the Guest
Any request for cancellation or modification must be communicated to "les Alfreds" as soon as possible.
For bookings made through a third-party platform, the cancellation and modification terms specified on that platform at the time of booking shall apply.
For bookings made directly with "les Alfreds," the following terms apply:
Le Kota B&B
Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.
In the event of cancellation less than 14 days before the arrival date, 100% of the cost of the booked nights is due.
Optional services are not included in the cancellation fees.
Le Chalet Bed & Bath
Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.
In the event of cancellation less than 14 days before the arrival date, 50% of the cost of the booked nights is due.
Optional services are not included in the cancellation fees.
Any change to the dates of the stay is subject to availability and the agreement of "les Alfreds."
In the event of a "no-show," late arrival, or early departure, no further refund is due, unless otherwise agreed by "les Alfreds" or required by mandatory legal provisions.
5. Arrival and departure
Arrival and departure times are communicated to the Guest at the time of booking or prior to their stay.
Instructions for accessing the accommodation are provided before arrival.
The Guest agrees to adhere to the agreed-upon times. Early arrival or late departure is only possible with the prior agreement of "les Alfreds." 6. Occupancy of Accommodations
The number of people staying in an accommodation must not exceed its maximum capacity, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance with "les Alfreds."
Bookings are personal. The client who made the booking is responsible for ensuring that all accompanying guests comply with these Terms and Conditions and the rules of the accommodation.
Accommodations must be used in accordance with their intended purpose, with due respect for the premises, the neighbors, and the facilities provided.
7. Children and Pets
Policies regarding children and pets may vary depending on the specific accommodation and are detailed on the relevant page or during the booking process.
Where pets are permitted, their owners remain responsible for supervising them and for any damage caused or excessive soiling that may occur during the stay.
8. Equipment and Facilities
The Client shall use the equipment, facilities, and outdoor spaces made available to them in a responsible manner and in accordance with the provided instructions.
Certain equipment—such as Nordic baths, hot tubs, wellness facilities, fire pits, or fireplaces—requires adherence to specific safety and usage guidelines.
Children must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults, particularly when near water, fire, or outdoor equipment.
9. Damage
The Client is required to promptly report any damage or incidents that occur during their stay.
The Client is liable for any damage caused intentionally or through negligence, as well as for damage caused under similar circumstances by individuals or animals for whom the Client is responsible.
"Les Alfreds" may request reimbursement for costs reasonably incurred in repairing or replacing damaged property, subject to applicable legal provisions.
10. Conduct and Respect for the Premises
The accommodations are intended for private, tourist-related stays.
The Client agrees to respect the premises, other occupants (if any), the neighborhood, and the rules established for the specific accommodation.
Parties, events, or activities likely to cause significant disturbance are permitted only with the prior consent of "Les Alfreds."
In the event of behavior that poses a serious risk to individuals, the facilities, or the tranquility of the premises, "Les Alfreds" reserve the right to take measures that are necessary and proportionate to the situation.
11. Additional Services
Certain services may be offered to complement the stay, such as breakfasts, hampers, beverages, or other options.
The content, pricing, and availability of these services are as stated at the time of booking.
Any food allergies or intolerances must be disclosed at the time of booking. It remains the Client's responsibility to ensure this information is communicated accurately. 12. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers issued by Les Alfreds may be used for the services specified on the voucher or at the time of its purchase.
Unless otherwise stated on the voucher, they are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
Booking a stay using a gift voucher is subject to the availability of the relevant accommodation. It is recommended to make your reservation well in advance.
If the price of the chosen service exceeds the value covered by the gift voucher, the recipient is responsible for paying the difference.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are generally non-refundable, subject to mandatory legal provisions.
In the event that a voucher is lost or transferred to a third party, the recipient remains responsible for its use.
13. Unavailability or Cancellation by Les Alfreds
In exceptional circumstances that render the accommodation unavailable or reasonably prevent the stay from taking place, Les Alfreds will notify the Client as soon as possible.
Depending on the circumstances, Les Alfreds may offer to change the dates, provide a suitable alternative, or issue a refund for any paid services that cannot be delivered.
The Client’s mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
14. Liability
Les Alfreds ensure that their accommodations and facilities are maintained in a condition suitable for their intended use.
The liability of Les Alfreds is governed by applicable Swiss law. Nothing in these General Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude liability that cannot be legally excluded or limited.
Les Alfreds shall not be held liable for events attributable to the Client, a third party, or external circumstances reasonably beyond their control, subject to mandatory legal provisions.
Specific legal provisions regarding the liability of hoteliers remain unaffected. 15. Personal Belongings
The Guest is responsible for their personal belongings during their stay.
Any forgotten items may be reported to Les Alfreds. Where reasonably possible, arrangements can be made to return such items at the Guest’s expense.
Mandatory legal provisions regarding the liability of accommodation providers for items brought by guests remain unaffected.
